"I went to Nicole for Reiki and I experienced awesome healing sensations. It is hard to describe but you feel the warmth and tingle of healing energy going through your body and in my case, I believe I had a miracle because the doctors said my leg would not get better. In fact, they said it would just get worse. I felt the strange sensations of Reiki do the work on my leg and now I can walk on it just fine. I know I owe this to the wonder of Reiki and its wonderful power.

"I first became aware of Reiki about a year ago
when a friend had a few treatments done for her back injuries. I was very skeptical about it. She
got better, but I said that her healing was just following its natural course. Then two months ago I
met Nicole, a Reiki master, and I started to learn more. Still skeptical about reiki, I picked up a
book and did some studying of it on my own. Then recently I accepted Nicole's invitation to try a
treatment. Even though I had an idea of what the treatment was going to be like, I never expected it
to be the way it was. As the treatment started I felt a strong sense of heat coming from her hands,
it felt like her hands were heaters. As the treatment went on I felt pulsing bursts of energy, like
someone patting my back without touching it. As we continued I began to feel sleepy and then I
started to remember a relationship I had about eight years ago! After the treatment I went out with
a friend and not realizing it, I became very open about my thoughts. I told her things I didn't
expect to tell her. I had about a hour and twenty-five minute drive back home. It was late and
normally I would have wanted to get a hotel room, but I needed to be home. I have a tendency of
getting really sleepy during late night drives, but on this one I felt more awake than I ever have felt
in my life! In fact I was home about 2am but I stayed up until 3. When I did go to bed, I had a
great night of sleep! I am not a skeptic about Reiki anymore. Reiki is a experience that I will always
remember. I plan on more treatments. Thank you Nicole!"

"My Lomi massage was the first
professional massage of any type that I had ever had, and I was a bit apprehensive of the stretching
movements because I have severe arthritis in my left hip and lower spine. I found the massage to
be gentle and very relaxing for the most part, and the pressure applied to several areas seemed to
immediately relieve strain and tension in those muscle groups. The stretching movements were gentle
also and caused me very little pain. My massage was in the late evening, and that night I slept
deeper and more comfortably than I had in many months. The following day I felt increased energy
and stamina, which was a most welcome surprise. I look forward to future Lomi massages!" Libby - Oshkosh

"Yesterday I received a Jin Shin Do and
Reiki treatment. J.S.D. is an acupressure technique in which pressure is placed on certain points to
help energy flow. It was pretty cool, especially around where the neck and skull meet. Combined
with some focused breathing you can really see things come running out of your mind at you. I guess
I would say, just be prepared to really welcome the things you see, good or bad. The Reiki
experience was different from what I felt during the Jin Shin Do portion of the treatment. It was
when the Reiki was being focused over my knees that I especially felt the energy throughout my
whole body. When she held my feet I felt weightless, like she was holding me up above her head! Try
it!" David - Appleton

"When I first heard about energy work,
I was hesitant. I did not believe that so-called "energy therapy" really existed or could affect a
person's health. After some time, I decided that to really find out, I would have to try it for
myself. During my Reiki treatment I noticed a deep sense of relaxation. I remember being amazed
by the intensity of the heat I felt throughout. Afterwards I noticed a significant change in my
overall outlook and felt very content and comfortable with my life. The stress I'd felt beforehand
was gone. I noticed the next day that my craving for nicotine had decreased as well. It was then that
I decided to receive treatments on a regular basis. Today I am a non-smoker." Chris - Oshkosh

A Little History
Dr. Mikao Usui; or Usui Sensei, is the most recent "founder" of what is known as the Usui System of Reiki. He was born in 1865 in Japan. His education there, in China, and in Europe included medicine, psychology, and religion. He was a businessman professionally and a spiritualist personally. Dr. Usui's rediscovery of what we call "Reiki" occurred spontaneously during a meditation retreat on Mt. Kurama. He found that this energy greatly enhanced his healing abilities and began teaching the Reiki technique to others.
